This is it!!! The painting for day 30...a transparent watercolor, 9" x 9" on 140 lb. Fabriano Artistico cold-pressed watercolor paper!
This is taken from the source photo by Janet Roberts - thank you very much, Janet, for sharing your beautiful photo.
Doing a painting a day is not always easy, but it wasn't as difficult as I anticipated.  I will have to admit that I am relieved that the time is over because I have some projects which I want to get started.  Over-all, I enjoyed the 30 days - I feel that I learned a lot. Thanks for sticking with me.

This is just beautiful, Barb. I love the light on the edges of the petals and the darkness inside the flower's folds. Congrats on getting through this challenge. I couldn't have done it and wouldn't have even tried. I'm just too slow!

Barb..What a stunning finish to this month long challenge! I admire your integrity in that you didn't just slop anything down and count it as a painting; but, instead, produced one quality painting after another. I also like that you tried various techniques and media out while doing this. Congratulations, my friend...Susan

Sherry - thanks for your positive comments...I am glad to be finished with the challenge but am not crossing out the possibility of another 30 days challenge in the future.

Vicki - thanks for commenting on my blog during this challenge - you were very supportive. I love the progress on your new painting and am so blown away by your ability to paint animals. I did 2 cats as a commission for a friend at Christmas and know from experience how difficult it is.

Susan - thanks for your wonderful comments - yes - I decided that I would put effort into every painting - effort and emotion when called for. It means a lot to me that you recognized this, dear friend. Once again, Thank You!
