Vortex

I painted early today since I have plans later in the evening, when I usually paint. This is another YUPO piece - probably the last for a while. I call it Vortex because it looks like a whirlpool. I used a combination of ultramarine blue, pthalo blue, and indigo for the water and red-orange for the koi. This painting is small - 5" x 8" and will make a nice greeting card sometime, I think!

Just lovely work, as always, Barb. I've enjoyed your Yupo experiments myself!

Katherine - thank you so much. It is a small painting - I used a piece of YUPO that I had left over.

Have loved your experiments with YUPO. I've been using it and a French version called Lana Vanguard for about 2 years now and love it. Such fun. I've created abstract, floral, figures and spiritual depending on what appears to me after I pour a chosen palette of acrylic inks or watercolour. Yours a beautiful colours and love the titles.
