My Garden

I decided to do some plein air painting Sunday and painted our front garden. This time of the year we have a multitude of blues, violets and pinks and I wanted to capture some of the feeling of this place. This is not a great painting, but it does sort of look like our garden. This painting is 11" x 8" and is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper.

Hi barb. We are at the north woods cabin now in Lac Du Flambeau. Let me know if you'll be in the area this summer . My en Klein air group paints on Thirs mornings but it ha been so cold here. Frost warnings tonight! I enjoyed your en plain air...wow.

Sherry - the flowers are not nearly as pretty today as they were on Sunday, when there was that short window of opportunity. Thanks for your comments.

Ginny - I am happy to hear that you are back in the northwoods. We aren't certain when we will come but I'll let you know for sure. I'm not so sure that frost warnings sound so good! Brrrrr!
