Watercolor is my passion. After teaching art in the public schools for 40 + years I now have time to create art for myself. I am a watercolorist who sometimes likes to work in mixed media as well. My journey in art began when I was a small child and continues to this day.

Pines in the Snow
This small painting is today's contribution to my Barb's Daily Creations blog. It is 8" x 6" and is painted on 140 lb. Canson cold-pressed watercolor paper. I thought I would share it with this blog!

Barb, it is gorgeous! How in the world did you get such realistic snow especially near the bottom? WOW!
Thanks, jgr...I used table salt for snow texture in the pines.
I really like the warmth that counters the cool blues :)
Thanks so much Rhonda!
Your work is lovely. Also, Thank you so much for your kind words. I look forward to seeing more?
A very lovely piece, Barbara. You always make art look so easy with your great results.
Also, thanks for the pointer to your daily blog. I had not noticed you have one.
