A Street in Tuscany

This is the latest lesson/painting that I prepared for my Monday night class at the art's center.  It was taken from and Wet Canvas photograph and is approximately 9" x 12".  I made some changes to the original photo - the greatest change being that I added the 2 nuns to the composition.  It is painted on 140 lb. Arches cold-pressed watercolor paper.  They painted this subject last night and did very well on their paintings.  Next week will be our last of the fall 8 week sessions.  Classes will resume in the new year.

Barb, what lucky students you have! This is a great subject and it is beautifully painted.

Barb, ditto to Christiane's comment. Your students must be learning a lot. I love the addition of the nuns. The white sparkles against the old buildings and draws us into the picture.

Studio at the Farm...I enjoyed your blog very much - your writing is very entertaining...especially the bits about the small furry fast-moving "Baby!" Thanks for visiting my blog.
