This is my answer to the other November project of Watercolor Workshop. This was painted on hot-pressed Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper and is 5" x 7". It is painted from a photo I took in my studio from a still life I set up. I had a very enjoyable time eating the danish and drinking the tea while I painted from the photo. :) I used a limited palette of burnt sienna, indigo, and sepia.

Looks delicious and is deliciously painted! I so love to see paintings of coffee/tea cups and this is a great one!
Yes, delicious is the word. What a wonderful painting! I like the limited palette, too. And the window painting is great, too!
This looks so good. Both the painting and the subject!

Barbra Joan...Thanks-I sure enjoyed eating the danish!
Barbara, it's bit some days since I checked in on your blog. Kudos on all the fine work. I love your delicious danish and tea. Sometimes the simplest of subjects are the very best.
Your window painting is wonderful. Such lovely texture.
Happy Thanksgiving!
