Michelle and I painted bosc pears in my studio this afternoon. Yes - I painted pears again...I just love to paint pears! This time I did them in oils and had a lot of helpful suggestions from my painting buddy. We had a great afternoon (and into the evening) painting. Thanks for the good company, Michelle!
This painting is 8"x 10" and is painted on wrapped canvas.

What a beautiful palette! You did such a marvelous job on that cloth and the pears look like models.
Barb, this is so lovely! It looks like they are gossiping, with some not interested. Pears always do it for me, too....Susan
What a beautiful painting. I love the highlights on the pears and the shadows in the cloth. Really well done. I could never accomplish so much in one day! You keep amazing me!
Both yours and Michelle's are stunning!!!
Oh, how I wish I lived closer, I'd be painting with you gals much more often!!!
Sherry - Thank you so much...my grand daughter brought the pears to me from Whole Foods in Columbus and I decided that before I ate them, they had to be painted...so one afternoon my friend Michelle and I set up this still life and had so much fun!
Susan...Michelle's husband also said that it looked like the 2nd and 3rd pears were gossiping! Thank you so much for commenting when you have so much on your mind.
Blessings and hugs to you.
Christiane - you are so kind with your comments when you are creating paintings that completely blow me away!!! You make me feel so good!
Donna - Oh how I wish you lived closer...it would be a blessing to spend time with you painting or not painting!!!
