Thoughts of Marcille and Thursday Zentangles

Today is a bad day.  We learned this morning that our sister-in-law passed away during the night.  She had been mostly unresponsive since a severe fall 2 weeks ago with severe brain injuries.  I finished the ironing and thought - well, I should do some painting, but my mind and body didn't really feel like painting.

I saw the paper chips that I always have around for Zentangles, and picked up the pen and started the meditative process of doing Zentangles...it is a very calming activity...one that I always enjoy, but more so today as I thought of my dear sister-in-law and all that she has meant to me and our family.  She was a loving wife and mother, one of the kindest people I have ever known and a real, gentle lady.  She will be missed.

Barb, I am so very sorry for your family's loss of Marcille. She sounds a wonderful lady. I'm glad you found some calm with the zentangles. I really like the hearts.
