Dianne's Rose

I painted this watercolor this evening for a friend who is ill with the hopes that it will bring a little joy into her life in spite of the pain that she is enduring.  The painting is 4" x 6" and is painted on Strathmore 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper.

Your watercolors are always exquisite. They are one of the motivators for me to keep on keeping on with watercolors. Beautiful and I hope this brings a smile and joy to your friend.

This is beautiful as well as thoughtful and generous of heart and spirit. Your friend will definitely love this - the pinks are subtle and gentle and calming, but also, they're happy pinks. Joyful pinks. Sweet pinks. Your friend will love you all the more for the joy I'm sure it will bring her, and for your thoughtfulness, and cherish it, along with the friendship it represents between the two of you. I hope she feels better soon.

Sherry - thank you so much for your wonderful comment on my watercolors and I certainly pray you continue with your watercolors - they can be so fulfilling.

Thank you June...my friend is very ill and I am so worried about her. I appreciate your wonderful comments. She is a former student from when I was teaching art in high school and we have remained friends for many years. It is so sad.
