"Write it on your heart that every day is the best day in the year."

Well, I have encountered a "bump in the road" on my way to a painting a day for 90 days...I just spent 4 days in the hospital where I discovered that I had had a very small stroke. I am in pretty good shape - I do have some visual problems, but it could be much worse.

Now - instead of numbering my daily paintings from days 1 to 90, I will now be numbering the paintings. Period! This painting of trees, branches and briars, is #14 and is a watercolor - 8" x 10" and it is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper.

Oh dear, Barb. Such awful news! I hope your health improves and that you have smooth sailing from here on in. I know you have the spinal surgery coming up in a couple of months too. And you still paint and oh so beautifully too. You are an inspiration and I wish you nothing but the best.
