Left to Rust

This is my daily painting - an old, vintage truck left to rust in a remote field somewhere.  The painting is 5" x 7" and is painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed Fabriano-Artistico watercolor paper.  This is from a small picture I saw on the internet - I don't have rights to this, so I will not attempt to show this or sell it - you might say it was painted out of my love of vintage trucks and, of course, for experience.

Another stunner, Barb. I love your vintage vehicle paintings - always have. I remember an old VW bug painting you did. I think you were doing some pouring at the time on that one. Just gorgeous.

Thanks, Sherry...I didn't pour on this one but I will have to admit that my poured paintings are my favorites.

Barbara, I am especially taken with the patch of rust on the right fender and the "stuff" in back of the cab. Wonderful! I was happy to see that your vintage truck painting received an award. Congratulations! Thanks for continuing to encourage me along my art journey.
