Well, I am back with the book "Celebrate Your Creative Self" by Mary Todd Beam. This particular project is a tissue paper collage with watercolor pencils and pastels and liquid acrylics. It was a lot of fun just letting myself go with shapes, texture and color.

I like this! Very colorful and a lot to admire!
Gorgeous colors here, Barb. I don't know that I've ever been able to just "let myself go." Alas, that particular quality shows itself in my work. LOL
Christiane...thanks for your coents - I am happy with the color I was able to get with the combination of the acrylics and watercolor pastels.
AutumnLeaves...I have always had difficulty just letting myself go and have not really done so in this one - there is always that touch of "tight-butt" there in my work! Probably always will be! :(
I am convinced that it is because I was the eldest child and there was always that higher level of performance that was expected of me - so subconsciously I am working for approval and perfection.
Hi Barb, These colors are wonderful and the shapes seem to 'dance' across the page. Also, I scrolled down to see your truck - and those flowers are WOW!
Jane - thank for checking out the latest projects on the blog...Working in the abstract is not a common experience for me, so it is good to hear some feedback about the abstract projects.
