Peggy's Pomegranate

Today I revisited the blue coffee pot, salt shaker and pomegranate.  The first painting was an oil, this is a watercolor painted on 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper and is  6" x 6" in size.  My sister-in-law Peggy brought me the pomegranate when she was here Jan. 14th for the reception of my art show.  I fear, that although I would like to eat it, that it may now be too ripe.  I am going to give it a try.  Below is the oil painting of the same objects I painted last Thursday afternoon.
