Old Bay Village Beauty

This painting was my post for my daily painting blog yesterday.  It  is a loose pen and ink drawing with a watercolor wash on hot-pressed Arches 140 lb. watercolor paper.  It is  approximately 6" x 7".  I used a Pigma Micron .005 archival waterproof ink drawing pen.

Neat truck! This looks like it would make a good illustration.

Studio at the Farm...I think this is more of an illustration than painting. I love old trucks! Thanks for commenting.

This is so pretty! I haven't seen those colors in a watercolor painting before! Very unique and creating a mysterious magical feeling. I also like the man's portrait above, and the sentiment about nothing being black and white. I know what you mean about the atmosphere in politics right now. If one side says "in" the other side says "out". They don't need to form their own opinion, just be sure to negate the other guy's opinion!

Katherine...thanks for commenting on the truck and the light painting.
I am so disgusted with the political scene these days - it is so depressing, because nothing is being really accomplished and our illustrious congress people play party politics while the country goes to *(*&! Can you tell that I am upset?
