This is an oil painting that I painted the weekend I spent at Lakeside, Ohio as a guest of the Ohio Plein Air Society. This was a magical moment as I sat on the bench watching the sun set over the Lake Erie Islands -painting furiously to capture the image of the setting sun. I will keep this painting forever - remembering that wonderful moment!
