AN HOMAGE TO PSALTY

We made a garden stone for Psalty last summer on my visit to the  northwoods.

A very dear fuzzy friend passed this week in Wisconsin.  His name was Psalty and he was the loyal, steadfast, loving companion of my dear friend Charlyne.  He will be missed by many, but most by Charlyne who spent so many precious moments with him throughout the years.  Psalty loved walking with his master in the woods, and exploring on his own too!  He was obsessed with fishing - I once saw him fish close to shore for almost 3 hours. He loved to run down the hill at full speed and dive off the dock in pursuit of his favorite water toys;  he loved to play with his friend, Milkbone the cat; most of all he loved to ride in the pontoon, in the front of the boat with the breeze in his face.  He was loving and empathetic, and once when I was visiting and received the news that my dog was ill, and I was crying,  he walked over to me and put his head in my lap to comfort me.I will never forget that moment.  I have so many fond memories of this wonderful golden retriever - and he will remain in my heart forever.  My thoughts, prayers and love go to his friend Charlyne on his passing.

I am so sorry for the passing of Psalty. I can only imagine how his loved ones are feeling. Pet owners will always have to go through this and I dread when my own days come. I love your remembrance of him, Barb.
