Rachel's Christmas Creation

The other night my granddaughter spent the evening with me in my studio and she did a wonderful composition to celebrate Christmas. It has all the elements for a festive Christmas Eve- a decorated house, a tree with a star, a little girl in bed upstairs and Santa's sleigh hanging to the house. I think it is really cool for a 2nd grader - especially that she spent 1 1/2 hours on this creation. Rachel - this is GREAT!

Very imaginative and impressive for such a young child. I like the way she darkened the night sky, too!
She looks proud of herself, as she should be.

Aubrey's attention span is typical for her age, she wants to paint for 15 minutes and then move on to another activity.

Excellent work for a second grader, indeed. It's colorful, fun, and mostly accurate! She looks happy, too :)

I am going to encourage all of my grandkids to do more art! This is inspirational! In spring my park here in FL is having an exhibit of "Grandchildren Art". So I am inspired too! This is frame-able art for sure!
