Green Truck and Old Shed

I have done this old truck and old shed many times - in different compositions and colors. I did this particular composition in shades of grays and blues for a previous class I was teaching. It was posted in a previous post on this blog. I love the old shed and it met its demise this fall during a severe wind storm. Luckily, I have many photographs of it, in various stages of decay. It was located a few miles west of us, sitting out in the middle of a wheat/corn/bean field, depending upon the year and the crop of the year. I have done the truck many times in many colors. It originated from a photo a friend sent me many years ago.

Barb, I have to tell you green is not my favorite color but I really like this old green truck. I would love to see you play up the colors more and give us more red in the old barn - a faded red but still playing the red vs green color scheme :)

Rhonda,
Great idea - I wasn't happy with the pinkish red of the barn from the start. I'll try it and let you know.
