I did this painting last winter as a greeting card. I sold the original card, but kept the photo of the painting. I was happy with the painting because of the intense color - I love color! I also thought that it had an almost oriental quality about it.

Barb, this is just stunning! I attended a Taylor Ikin workshop where she painted much the same composition of this color of hibiscus on Yupo. I have to say I love yours even more than hers. I may have to study yours for awhile and try it on a large piece of Yupo, those colors would just sing on that "paper". Love this!
