Ozee's Old Truck

This vintage truck painting is due to the kindness of "Ozee" who has allowed me to use his wonderful photograph.  I found him on the internet.

This painting is 9" x 12" and is painted on 140 lb. Canson cold-pressed watercolor paper.  I used Indian Red as the primary color in the truck and I dulled down the greens by using sap green  and cerulean blue.  I introduced a lot of muted colors into the house - Payne's grey, cerulean blue, Indian red, and a little cobalt blue.

My class knows that I always have to throw in a vintage truck every now and then - so this will be a lesson for my class.
