Watercolor is my passion. After teaching art in the public schools for 40 + years I now have time to create art for myself. I am a watercolorist who sometimes likes to work in mixed media as well. My journey in art began when I was a small child and continues to this day.

30 Paintings in 30 Days - Day 8: Old-Fashioned Peony
I created this painting for Day 8 in the challenge. The painting is 4" x 6" and is painted on Canson's 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper. I used the new Golden QoR watercolors - they are so rich and yummy!

I don't do watercolor or paintings much in general. I love this picure, it brings many memories of my childhood back.
