Watercolor is my passion. After teaching art in the public schools for 40 + years I now have time to create art for myself. I am a watercolorist who sometimes likes to work in mixed media as well. My journey in art began when I was a small child and continues to this day. Barbara Hart Sailor

Love the shapes! I'd like to learn how to do those folds myself.
Whoa! That's just too much fun!!!
Sherry - the folds are not hard - you have to "score" the paper first with a sharp instrument where you want to fold it and you have to have a reverse fold wherever you have a positive fold. I use a dull X-acto knife and make sure I don't cut all the way through.
There are advantages to having been a public school art teacher for 40+ years - we know all sorts of tricks! :)
Donna! It was most certainly fun! I find it very relaxing and a positive break from serious painting. I haven't forgotten the info you requested on those student paintings! I plan to do it soon! (Queen of procrastination!)
These are super Barb!!!...absolutely GREAT.
I am saving the photos and will give it a try.
I am not as "crafty" as you are.
Ginny - you are every bit as crafty as I am - Your work is beautiful! My stars are about 5 inches across and I found a 5 point star pattern in a coloring book which I used for the outside dimensions. I just barely fits into 8 1/2 x 11" paper size.
