Watercolor is my passion. After teaching art in the public schools for 40 + years I now have time to create art for myself. I am a watercolorist who sometimes likes to work in mixed media as well. My journey in art began when I was a small child and continues to this day. Barbara Hart Sailor

The Antique Truck at Delphos
This is my latest
vintage truck painting. It is from a photograph by my friend Pamela Baker
(www.bakercreekdesigns.com). The painting is done on a half piece of Arches 140 lb.
cold-pressed watercolor paper. This will be part of our show in October, 2013, at Riverside Art Center in Wapakoneta, Ohio, which will highlight Pamela's photos and my interpretations of them.

Oh I do wish I could go to that antique store! A lovely painting and as always, you capture the sense of history in your old vehicles. I always wonder at the owners, at how they came to be resting where they do...
This is just too wonderful, Barb! I love the setting with the truck beside an antique shop. The detailing is just perfect. I certainly wish I could visit your and Pamela's show.
